Midback | Waist

I'm way too attached to my length at the moment to trim away my layers (they're nearing APL). I'd really like to, though! I hope I'll get myself to do regular (micro)trims soon on my length, right now I have had no trims since late March 2010. (Strangely enough, my ends still look relatively good.)

Not all of mine are gone, there are still some at SL, but it feels sososo much better and I actually *like* it for once! So maybe just cut out half? Some people trim as they go, I just am too impulsive

Well I did it, and chopped off the whispy fairtale ends that were really damaged. It's funny, the length that went was quite a bit, as I chopped off 2.5 inches. But the actual amount of hair was surprisingly small when I looked at it. My hair looks so much thicker now and the hemline is a lot nicer and thicker. And it feels nicer. Those ends were pretty bad.

I went from 29 inches to 26.5. It feels so much shorter now that I'm back to BSL.

That's weird, we were at the same length and cut off the same amount! It feels so much better doesn't it

it'll be a while before I'm brave enough to cut the rest of the length of though

my wonderful (new) hairstylist didn't cut more than i thought i wanted! woohoo! it's only 1.5 inches taken off, but i'm more aware of my ends right now. it's been a while since anyone called my hair beautiful. she doesn't speak much english yet but she's so much better at understanding me that other hairstylists :P

i feel like i'll be in this thread forever! but i'm sticking to this hemline now while i grow it out and going to keep my hair up as often as i can.

Looks like it will be a while longer before I get to join all of you heading to waist. I mentioned on Facebook that I was cutting it and my best friend got upset. She is getting married in October and I am her Matron of Honor. She always pictured my hair like it is now for her wedding. She will be really sad if I cut it so I guess I am going to wait. I am still going to trim it, but the big trim will have to be after October.

Isn't waist long enough for your friend? Most people think it's super long!

Oh well, it's sweet of you to comply to her wishes for her big day. I'm super impatient when I get an idea in my head that I really want to do something, so I'd really have to struggle with that.

I am the same way and now it's even harder for me not to do what I want with it ! I seriously just want to go chop it even worse now !!!!!
