I think I belong in this thread. Again. Le sigh. As APL to BSL was really fast for me this time (January-Beggining of June), I'm hoping BSL to waist will be even faster! I think I am about two inches away... Maybee one and a half? *fingers crossed*

Can't wait till I reach waist...it seems to take forever

but I have noticed it is growing at the average of 0.5 inches per month and doing regular oil treatments seems to be making my hair less prone to breakage ..as my hair is very fine. I have another 4-5 inches to reach waist and estimate it being around Feb/march 2012 ....here's hoping

I'm new to this thread as well. I think I'm about 2inches, maybe a little less (or so I like to think) from my waist.

I've been putting pure rosemary essential oil on my ends each night and it seems to be going wonders. Its really soft now. Hopefully this will stop breakage and I will eventually get to my goal length (which is tailbone at the very least).

I am about an inch from hitting waist, and three to four inches from my final goal of lower waist or grazing hip.

I have found two styles so far that fit decently under my bike helmet. Flipped pencil buns work, but so far I can only get them to hold with mini claw clips. For whatever reason, pins just refuse to work. It's rather funny. But I definitely can hide a ton of hair in a flipped pencil bun, so it is a very useful style.

The other will make you all laugh your heads off. The good ol' cinnabun works, if I do it loosely like I'm trying to do a Gibraltar bun. I then promptly run out of hair, because my hair is still too short for a Gibraltar bun. It needs to be *very* high on my head tho, so you can see flashes of my bun from head on.

So... I'm pretty sure I have a bike helmet solution for at least 6" more of hair growing. Possibly rather a lot more. I wonder how many more I can come up with before the ice takes me off my bike...

Hi Eolan,
Unless you are past BSL, I think you might be a bit optomistic about 1.5-2" from waist. Are you a measurer?
Not to scare you, but...Welcome to the abyss!

EDIT: I see the 1-2" you were talking about from one of your pics- I think you are right! I am definately jealous! (Long torso here).
