Shoulder | Armpit

My front is now at collarbone, so this is fully shoulder now, right? Weee!!!!!!!

Same here, last semester I dealt with a really chunky layer, I couldn't wear it down even if I wanted to. I like to wear my hair up (which I do 90% of the time) but I don't like it when I "have to". Little dustings on all the layers finallly gave me a workable shape. Even when I wear my hair down, I have something in it, like a half up or side combs, now the side combs look okay too.

What is everyone's favorite bun for symmetrical bun waves or bun curls at this length? Something I could wear to work during the day but take it down after work and have a nice shape?
I keep wishing it were long enough for a fully rolled sock bun but I'm not there yet.
French twist or peacock twist gives me really wonky bun waves off to one side.

For me is the loop, there's a thread about it, like a method of drying. When I just take it out, it looks like this, but then I brush it with a BBB and looks pretty smooth like 1b. For really big waves I'd need to wear rollers, my "true hairtype" is 2c/3a but when normally combed looks like 2a most of the time.

This is a pretty wavy day from a loop bun, you can see two waves there, from where the scrunchie touched, my underside is always wavier too. Also my "everyday bun", which is just loops gives me nice waves and looks pretty to wear out of the house. In all cases don't make the ponytail too tight.

That sounds hopeful! What kind of loop bun is this? I did a google image search for it and I see pictures of elaborate wedding updos but I also see explanations of a ponytail where the tail isn't pulled completely through...I'm not sure which one it is. The "everyday bun" is really pretty...I want to figure out how to do that!

So many people kept asking me about this bun that I just made an article for it today!

It's brand new so I don't know if any adms/mods will change something. It's also my first article so I hope I did well.

My hair is too stiff and slippery to do this yet. The side loops work fine, but the vertical ones slip out as soon as the stick goes in. Maybe this would work better if my hair were wet.

You'll get it right someday. It's okay if some strands slip out, mine do too.
