Hahaha, I'll have to get my roommate to take a picture next time I wash my hair. I can feel it at waist when it's wet but I'm not sure if I'm tipping my head back or not. I'll still wait for it to be at waist dry and straight and then at waist dry and wavy until I graduate from this thread. I'm really in no rush. At least that's what I tell myself at night.

I need sympahy; I just measured for the first time since february, and the lenght has decreased a little. I know I have trimmed a bit, but still. So still 2" to waist...

I'm about 3 or 4 inches to waist. I can't waaiiiit! I want to trim my hair when it gets past waist so I have a blunter hemline. Right now my hair is tapered and only some parts are near the waist

I think I now have about 1.5" until I hit waist, yay! Still anticipating reaching my waist mini-goal by December. Then I graduate to the "Waist to Hip" thread.

I'm finally feeling that I'm on my way to long hair. I'm more prepared than ever for the long winter - And I'm not afraid for it anymore. Come on winter, give me all you got!

I am about 5 inches from waist, but my GOAL-goal is to have less layers and more ends all at waist. I will check back in Winter!

I have the same goal with the layers. I think I am 4" or so to waist. Not getting a trim is going to be hard on my layers and hair quality but once I am waist I guess it won't matter

Well, I thought I was cruising along nicely when I realized that my hair is really split on the ends again suddenly! It's all that old damage. Ugh. My hair goes from copper-orange to medium red, to auburn, to mousy brown. So much damage!I really wanted to not have to trim until Christmas. Ugh. Maybe I'll get it trimmed and layered for my birthday. I've noticed pretty hair tends to look longer.

I've had it up the past two weeks and I didn't notice, but while I wasn't looking it grew the last inch I needed. I'm still giddy. Couldn't wait to share!

I think I'll stick around until my layers grow down to match the ends a little, if you girls and guys don't mind.

Almost there! I was a bit past hip in December 2009, then cut to midback, grew to waist, and cut to bsl in March. Now, I'm at waist if I pull at the ends My hair may be straight, bit it is really bouncy, and that shrinks up the length a lot more than you'd think.
