Mine feels somewhat long at just below BSL. I hope it feels long at waist, because I don't plan to grow it much longer than that. I might go for hip, but I'm definitely not going longer than hip. I don't want my hair long enough to sit on. Of course, I say this now...

My longest layer finally hit top of BSL, and it does feel long. Not too long, just substantial. I've missed the feeling. Half of me keeps thinking that there is no way I could pull off waist length, and the other half just can't wait to try it.

I'm thinking once I hit waist I might increase the frequency of my trims (maybe to 4x a year rather than twice) to try and thicken my hair and rid it of splits. My hemline looks fine, but my hair FEELS sooo much thinner at the ends, and I can't believe the number of splits I have

But since tailbone is my ultimate goal and feels closer by the day, it's tempting to just race on to there ... hmm ...

Hello everyone! I just found this thread, and I'm growing to waist too so I thought I'd join in the fun! Right now my longest layer is about .5"-1" below BSL. It's hard to tell exactly but I'm definitely at BSL now, and am planning to grow to waist!

I concur. I'm about an inch away from waist, I think. And with the ends tickling my elbows or draping over my boobs completely with room to spare, yeah it finally feels long. But then I have never had my hair this long ever, so that may be why. I did grow to BSL many many times before.

im about bsl...and my goal is waist and has been for a while. But the more I think about it the more I'd love hip and beyond

My hair looks properly past BSL, and the tip is waist when stretched out!

I'll have to put a picture up soon, and I will be staying in this thread until my hair looks properly waist, though I will also be in the next thread.

Don't you just love being at the crossroads between two length threads?

I know! It's silly but I can say it here: I feel like the Waist-to-Tailbone thread is the promised land! I'm sure I won't feel like it when I jump over there though!

I looked this morning - I think waist must be about 36 inches on me..... so I am further off than I thought.

I feel the same! I am desperate to be a part of that thread and on the 'last leg' of my journey!

But I know realistically that I am not going to feel much different with 2 inches more hair than I do now

Aww, are you sure?

That sounds like an awfully 'long' waist measurement, it's only about 30/31" on me. Don't be discouraged though, try to enjoy the journey, I'm sure your hair will be totally beautiful at every step along the way
