Default Show your updos (for BSL and shorter)

I wanted to start a thread for hairstyle pictures for those of us who have BSL and shorter hair. It's nice to see the Styles people are using while they are growing out their hair. Please list how long your hair is (as in APL, BSL etc) so we can tell if it's a style we could use as well!

here is my knot braid on my APL wavy hair:

Watching with interest - I'm only at shoulder length right now but looking for ideas!

Oh that's so pretty! I'm at APL and still can't do anything but a cinnabun (one full twist plus some) secured with a hair tie because of how thick my hair is (ETA: and because my shortest layers are at collarbone). And I'm really tired of just throwing my hair up in a bun every day! I need ideas!

Oh, a great idea for a thread. That knot looks beautiful!

Here's a twist with spin pins and decorative poppy pins that I could do at shoulder length.

    Hie thee to a forkery!
    Currently at waist.

So pretty! What are spin pins? I'm looking to invest in some fun hair accessories.

I love these ideas ladies! Keep them coming! This is my go to updo since I'm trying to grow out side bangs. This French braid to the side keeps them secure and then I wrap my hair in a bun.

    She might mean these.

If she doesn't, then let me be the first to tell you, THESE THINGS ARE GREAT. My hair's knee-length, so I have to use four to keep my hair all up in buns, but they work so wellllll.... They're a life-saver.

I agree, this is a good idea for a thread! My hair is just beyond my shoulders so I do mostly twists, although the Wrapped Hairstick Bun is very doable at my length. The photos posted so far are very pretty, indeed.

Sparklylady82, your knotbraid has a lovely bohemian look to it, it is so pretty.

Nesoi, love the twist, they are my go to up-dos these days. I especially like the poppy pins!!

I have posted this photo in the Curly Buns Thread, but it will do very well here, also. It is a twist (of course) held with a small flexi 8. The small flexi holds nice and snug and I gently pulled the loose ends up and placed them in various directions.
