biotin capsules
I take vitamins ..one of them is biotin capsules (on bottle it says hair skin and nails)..anywho in the morning I take them and it dawned on me...hmmm I wonder how it would work for skin and hair by peircing the capsules and apply directly as opposed to ingesting it?...well I tried it...took 3 capsules to do my face and neck and I love the way it made my skin look and feel...so I got excited and added a few to my shea butter mixes (my little mix is a 2fer I used it for skin and hair masque)..even went as far as squirting a few to apply on my ends...who knows I may have stumbled into something here.

Re: biotin capsules
I doubt that vitamins meant for ingesting would do anything applied topically. I think the particles are too big for being absorbed into the skin that way. However, I'm not an expert. If it works for you then why not do it

My guess is that what's feeling nice is the oil that was in the capsules. Which is fine -- oiling skin and hair works great for a lot of people. I put oils on my skin and hair regularly, and it feels really good. (Emu's a personal favorite for my skin. It absorbs well.)

Re: biotin capsules
If you have a look on the packet you should be able to find out which oil the biotin capsules are filled with, and buying a bottle of it will probably be astronomically cheaper than squeezing the oil out of the capsules.
