I don't rinse, I find it works much better if I soak the length in the tea, and put my hair in a baggie for a half hour prior to washing (scalp only washes)
2 How long did it take you to get great results 1wash, 5 washes,10 washes??????
I noticed a difference right away, but I had stopped using cones so did not have buildup to overcome.

I make a mug of tea, a rounded teaspoosn of catnip and fill the mug with boiling water and let it steep all day while I am work. Strain it and put the liquid in a bowl and dunk the length into it and get is sopping wet before putting it into a ponytail with the length in the baggie.
Good luck and let us know how it works out for you. Catnip saved my hair, it used to be so brittle and broke off and would not grow. Catnip prevents the breakage and splits. It is the only conditioner I use. I do put a drop of coconut oil on the length while it is damp and I also rinse all the catnip tea out when I am done.

I also had build-up, plus I was experimenting to get the best results, so my results are not the same as others using what I posted as the best way to use catnip for me.

My hair is 2 inches shy of waist length, pulled down but it is thin. I use 1 level packed teaspoon to just under 300 ml (10 oz. approximately) of boiled water but I leave some left over for my skin (about an ounce, so I do not use all 10 oz. each time). If you use this dilution, you can double it if you like, if your hair is really thick.

Yes, each time I wash my hair. I follow Ktani's instructions and bag my hair for 1 hour. This works well for me.

My hair is just past waist length (iii) and I find that 1 level teaspoon to just under 300 ml of boiling water is sufficient.

I made a second lot to put all over head in the shower, it felt a bit strange my hair was less stringy than I thought it would be, as my hair with conditioner is tragic, Although I did use a small amount of conditioner after rinsing it, anyway hair is drying but feels ok will update later as the day continues and results come forward stay tuned.........................

but have to ask ......is it like when you use a new shampoo and your hair seems to like it for the first few washes then it wears off???
and if you wet your hair in between washes what do your use if anything??, normally I would use conditioner as my hair gets to knotty and horrible any tips please!! :flowers:
