Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I use to wear my hair braided all the time, Part of my reason for wanting to grow it out again, Ironically I really haven't braided it much at all since it's gotten long enough. Today I'm wearing tucked French braids though, I forgot how cute this style is :D

Tucked French braids sound like a fun option. Bet those look lovely.

Talking about great hair day! :inlove: Do your coils form like this without help or do you need to set them somehow? If they do this without assistance you are lucky, I've seen many wet setting tutorials where they try to achieve such neat coils. My own hair has very irregular wave pattern where is seems like no hair wants to play with its neighbour. :)
Elfa should get a medal for the fastest hair transformation of the LHC history! At least you would be at the top group of members if not the fastest!
Everyone else is lookin' good too! :eye:

My hair did not start clumping together until I used oil rinses with conditioners. It got better naturally after I gave up conditioners, mainly using castor oil and water. I am playing with gels to see if they can help prevent or reduce single-stand knots. A person with my texture has to be brave to do what I do, seriously.

I did a high ponytail the other day, which I haven't since my hair was at shoulder, and was pleasantly surprised how swishy it was. Not as bouncy as at shoulder, but swush for bounce is a good trade.
Please post a picture when you do them next time! I am realy sure it looks amazing. I think that with this hair lengh high ponytails are cute, like they aren't long or bouncy but still super cute. When they are short-ish like when I first cut it mine looked almost bun-ish since my hair curled under a bit. Super cute!!

LaísB thanks! :o
Nymphe thanks! You're probably right, it's just that sometimes I'm like "ok, enough, I wanna be there already" lol. But we can't rush time, so enjoying the road is what we got!
HairPlease hi there! :p Thank you! I like it too, it feels like I have so much hair now!
Arctic lol! I'm happy to hear that, I feel like it's been forever that I'm stuck around this length

I will be happy to post milkmaid braid pictures next time I do them. Very easy to do, and they stay well with hairpins, so I think I'll doing that style frequently.
Very much agree about the shorter ponytails. I had the curled-under ponytail effect when I first cut, too, and liked that a lot.
Arctic the red cloud thanks you for your lovely comments. It is pretty soft.
Nymphe, those are some gorgeous coils, super pretty
Elfa, the journey is part of the fun, though it is tempting to want to be at goal already. Lots of new things to try along the way.
