Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Ooooh I think I'm getting really close at the back when my hair is wet and stretched now! I'm definitely not calling it until I reach it dry and wavy - mainly because I really think thatll be the longest it's ever been and actually officially super long in my eyes! Also, by then I should be closing in on bsl when stretched.

I am very excited for you, AmyBee. Good luck, it won't be much longer, now.
Like you, I am getting really close, but not calling it until it is there unstretched.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hi! I'm joining in here, I think I'm pretty solidly in this stage. When my hair is wet, using the towel method says it's APL, but once it's dry and curly, it sits around my collarbones.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I continue to be almost overly-content with my hair length, to the point where I'm not babying it as much as I used to.
I'm not "bored" of it and craving a chop or anything, but rather I have simply stopped caring whether or not it grows.
Actually kind of worried this will come back to bite me in the long run though...
Hair at this length is quite vulnerable to damage since it constantly brushes against the tops of one's shoulders.
I've been getting loads of tangles and a lot of the time I just ignore them and throw my hair into a messy ponytail.
I also tend to leave my hair down a lot because it's still too short to rely on simple english braids and I spend most of my time at home.
I'm afraid my contentment is going to lead to permanent damage... But I just can't be bothered to think about my hair lately!!
I still want it longer but it's already "long enough" so I'm not constantly pining for the next milestone like I was before.

0xalis, I would view that as a good thing. Of course, tangles and some damage isn't good, but it's even worse to stress about your hair and its condition. Tangles and a little bit of damage are a part of life. :)

Don't worry, there are periods in which we aren't focused on your hair and that's totally fine! Unless you straighten, curl or expose it to extreme heat I don't think it would lead to a terribile amount of damage.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Besides this cbl range looks killer on you I would miss my growing buddy though!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Thanks you guys :flower:
I know I really shouldn't stress it too much, I'm just such a worrier lol!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
i'm lurking more in here, even though I have almost a whole inch from shoulder, but pretty sure I'll graduate the shoulder topic by the start of May, its 2 months more than I thought it would take, but it is growing slower this time around

Hooray! Nice to have you here! I am going to be here for 5 million years  It is now getting to a length where it's easier to put up with without heat styling though so I cant complain!
