I just checked, and I'm APL straight!!! Still around an inch to inch and a half to get there wavy. I will be there solid by May.
Hi puffer! My length is probably similar to yours. I just called shoulder! I agree this is a tough phase of growing out! But that's why we have this thread to commiserate and hopefully get through it fast!Quote:

Here's a comparison between early December and early January - apologies for the lack of sunshine this month and the different poses! I think it shows a decent growth though - I seem to average about .75 of an inch per month.

I know this string is about APL length so I hope it's ok if I post here. I am new to this forum, so I apologize if this has already been asked, but Is HL length pretty much considered tailbone length? I'm about six inches from tailbone length, just curious. Also I'm going to be 50 (wow) looks weird in print, lol... this July. I'm sure there is another section for women discussing long hair at older ages, but when I did a search for this topic on this site it took forever for anything to come up so I gave up. Anyone here have any thoughts about age related hair length? I'm hoping I don't succumb to the dreaded lop off.
I belong here! I chopped my hair due to henna and am growing everything out again. I still have henna in my hair and a very solid line of demarcation, but at least I'm working with shorter hair rather than something that was down my back.
I had considered dying my roots darker, but my medium blonde hair would have still looked pretty terrible growing out. I feel that at least now, growing from shoulder, I can pretend I'm rocking a reverse ombre as it grows longer.
Oh, Rapunzelberg, I find that searching on Google first for what I want along with "the long hair community" works a lot better than using the search engine on this site. I believe there is a waist to TB length thread somewhere, and is most likely under the "Mane" forum. Try and give that a shot! I can't answer if TBL is HL, though. I think TBL is longer than hip since the coccyx is the tailbone. (Or at least that's what anatomically makes sense to me.)
