Thanks everyone! I'm proper chuffed 'cause I was certain my hair just didn't grow haha. Looks like my tattoo is going to prove useful when it comes to measuring growth!
Geeorgie: that is some awsome growth!!!
I find this length for me to be a bit awkward. Because my hair grows in natural layers most of my braid styles or buns have random hairs spiking out in odd places. This drives me insane. So to make along story short, I cant wait to be APL and beyond because, like some of you mentioned, most of the time I get to this length and I just cut it off. Doing that willl not help me to reach my goal of hip.
Anyone else see increased growth with daily scalp massages? Or perhaps just a growth spurt for fall? I've seen nice increase in growth this month and I'm trying to figure if it's just a random spurt or if the daily-in-the-car scalp massages are really doing something.
I have tried a lot of things, over the past few months...but not had any real results on impressive length to mention on anything. Although I am sure that all my efforts lacked daily consistency.
I'm doing daily (or at least every other day) scalp massages as part of my wo experiment. I can definitely see growth. I can't say it has increased my growth rate as I am trying not to measure too often. Otherwise i drive myself crazy.
Also for those that can do a lwb now. I've found a larks hair squiggly works fantastic. She is doing customs now. Mine is 3 inches and it's perfect. I think I could even sleep in it as it's so comfortable.
Ok, an action shot is what I need to push me over the edge. Cause I still don't understand how this (or lots of other things) would work in a LWB. Cause that little strip of hair the fork or stick goes through just seems so slim for much of anything. I am trying to make things work in it... see pic... but I need more info on the squiggly. Maybe a tutorial.

Today is a sad day for my hair because I trimmed it half an inch. I just couldn't stand the ends anymore. They were being soo dry, tangly, split and awful. I can't wait to get out of this phase because it is such a frustrating length for my hair. It's neither long nor short, and I find it hard to make nice hairstyles with it. I trimmed off a whole month of growth.
But I know it will be worth it to have healthier hair in the long term.
