That is sad, I just got a birdseye maple, and I hope it will look okay in my hair. What kind of wood were you thinking you might be looking for Bunnysaur? I am so drawn to the Grahtoes, and have scored a bunch the past two weeks, but I am worried they will swallow my shorter than APL hair right up! There's always next year though. I can wait. But I figured I should buy now, because you never know what can happen to an artist you really like. Longing for BSL hair but first comes APL!

I hate my tap water too, so I bought a shower head filter off Amazon. The thing is fantastic, I can wash my hair with my shampoo bars and not worry about my hair getting scummy!
I'm also trying to go for Grah-Toes with more graining, more color, and medium-dark colors.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I can't wait til I move back to the states at the beginning of fall. The water here just kills both my skin and my hair. I hate it! I don't know how people deal with it. :P
I am loving all these lovely forks. Wow. So stunning. I will so need to get one as a present to myself for hitting APL. Whenever that happens.
I have a plan to henna my hair tomorrow. I am looking forward to it as my roots are showing. *blush*
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I was thinking about henna-ing my hair sometime. But then I'd have to keep doing it, and while I'll have time after my classes for the rest of summer, it'll be hard to work in "5 hours of sitting in my room with henna on my head" during the fall/spring semesters :(

Just keep it on your head while you sleep. If you cover your pillow with a towel it should be ok. I've done it before, it works alright as long as you use a big towel and wrap it around the pillow so it doesn't slip off during the night.

Also try putting your pillow in a bin bag first, just in case, then towel it. If you cling film tight enough it shouln't leak though.

I often do my henna at night. It is the easiest way to do it in regards to time. Tomorrow I am being all weird and doing it during the day. heh. I play to sit with henna on my hair and play games all day. OOOhhhh.
I love what henna does to my hair. :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I hadn't thought of that, Roscata, thanks! That definitely sounds doable... :stirpot:

That is actually a great idea! I bought a water butt to collect rain water, but so far only have a couple of cups! Might as well go straight to the source :D
