What no action shot for us? j/k:p I'm sure you looked cute though.:D Did you make it or was it already made?
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I found a foam donutty thing that some yarn was rolled up around. I had to cut it in half. My hair wouldn't even cover the foam :( it was all spiking up from the middle and I couldn't make it stay down.

omg, sorry. Ok now I finally understand what you straight haired folks go through with hair sticking straight out everywhere. Here I was thinking you straighties have it all good...:o That sucks that straight hairs can really poke out, for me even though my hair is thick it is still pliable and i can pretty much fake out a sock bun easily. Interesting though how much more pliable curly/wurly hair is compared to thick straight hair. Do you have an easy time if you try to curl your hair, or is your hair the stubborn straight type?

I'll let you in on a little secret, here: It's been so long since the only time I tried to curl my hair that I don't know. :p I used to straighten the hell out of it in high school, and it didn't take to that too well, so I can imagine that it just doesn't react kindly to heat styling.

I know you weren't asking me, but personally if I pre-curl my hair it looks ok for about half an hour tops, then it ususally rains, meh.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I started at sholder less than 6 months ago (on valentines day), and I'm now past BSL. It's been 3 months and what I'm doing is really working!!
My plan:
I'm eating a clean diet (vegetarian), as always. I eat 2-3 organic free range pasture eggs everyday. I eat plenty of fruit and veggies. I only eat Whole Foods Market farmed raised salmon 1/week or white fish and raw goats cheese, keifer. I also use organic extra virigin coconut oil, Juice Organics Shampoo and Conditioner, and I only wash my hair 2-3 times per week. Sometimes I'll throw an egg in my hair...ONLY organic pasture raised eggs! I won't touch the crap eggs from regular stores. Sometimes I'll also put avocado in my hair and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. I also have a special brush that doesn't break my hair and I don't comb it when it's wet nor do I brush it. I also use essential oils to really moisturize my hair, and of course being careful with the protein/moisture balance. No chlorine in my shower head ( I have a filter). I also pick up my own spring water str8 from the spring which doens't have chlorine like sink water does.

Hello SurferB!
If your hair is past BSL you might want to join the BSL to WAIST thread. :)
