I'm happy to post pics of the hair toys I have. However I haven't figured out the album thing yet. I can post in threads though, obviously. LOL. I'll see if I can figure it out. Or do we just want to post in the threads? Yay hair toys.:D

For now let us just post in the threads. As you can see I'm also having difficulties trying to make my "miscellaneous" album. It keeps telling me to see the administrator. I have accumulated so many pics that I haven't posted in my profile yet. I'll be posting my "Wednesday Hair Toy..." on this thread real soon.... I can't wait to see yours and tips you may have for the straighties!:D
So you want pics tomorrow? Or next Wednesday?
The pictures haven't been working for a while (Problem with uploading pictures), since mid April.
For my: Wednesday Way to go Hair Toy Action Shot(s)I figure that once a month after TTT we could celebrate our test results by sharing styles we can explore through Hair toys. I hope many of you will join and continue this tradition in addition to Tuesday Treatment (Weekly), Towel Test Thursday (Once a month). If you just joined our thread and are just at shoulder length, please don't be intimidated, you can join us by showing us your "sock bun" or hair claws, barrettes or anything you do to wear your hair in a daily style. Have fun everyone, and I hope that we could all learn from one another! Let's begin.
My style(s) will work best for people who have iii thickness, preferably wurly/curly head peeps! People who have straight hair can modify the styles I offer by making it look more refined, sleek and not messy! A more tighter look is what I imagine straight haired folks can accomplish with my style. For this month I'll only demonstrate using a custom made fork I bought at: Grahtoestudio I really recommend you check out Kimi's (owner) site, her toys has revolutionized the way I wear my hair. I now wear my hair up everyday! No more hair ties, claws for me!LOL
Preperation: (Only for this month i'll show you what I generally do before I put toys on my hair)

I generally will use extra virgin coconut oil heavily to thoroughly coat all my hairs. As you can see I have really thick coarse wurly/curly hairs and I really need to nourish them to get more definition and somewhat sleek look. This will also help nourish my fork and at the same time give the fork a good grip on my hairs.
Style 1 The "Messy Bun"
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...1FB08EA1-1.jpg
Tips: Grab your hairs as if you are going to pony tail your hair. Then twist your tail very loosely as if you are going to do a cinnabun, then stick the fork making sure to grab scalp hairs before locking it into the bun. Tips for straight hairs: The looser you make the bun the more volume you'll achieve.
Style 2: Variation of messy bun side view
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...99C1DBB1-1.jpg
Tips: You can add tendrils to the bottom of this bun or stick the tendrils underneath the fork to get a more defined look.
Style 3:The Simple "S" Bun for Shld+ length
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...2FDB702D-1.jpg
Tips: Start from the top left area of your head and start twisting your hair into an "S" shape. The moment you finish and reach the center of the "S" insert the fork. You should have some tendrils at the bottom of your bun.
Style 4: Side Ribbon Knot:knit:
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...48E44E409D.jpg
Tips: This style bun is for the intermediate to expert bunners! I don't think i'll be able to write a tutorial for this because it involves you have some knowledge of how to do simple knots on hair. But if you have any questions I'll try to answer them as best as I can. Please excuse the flaking! I was due for my shower the day I took this shot.
Style 5:Refined Side Ribbon Knot with Partial Cinnabun:knit:
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...E5E1E6B7F0.jpg
Tips: This style is for the advanced and expert bunner! At this level you should be able to figure out what I did! hahahahaha:p
I hope you all enjoyed my fork tutorial! Until next month for our Wednesday action shot(s) I'll share a different toy!:magic:
ravenheather I'm posting mine in advance because I have a faculty meeting to attend tomorrow. Generally I hope this will be a once a month thing for Wednesday after the week we finish the towel test. I hope this helps. LOL
Roscata you are such a dear! I love it that you are so resourceful on here! Thanks for the heads up!:D:cool:
Just to clarify everything Today is still Tuesday Treatment Day.
Tomorrow is when:
Wednesday Way to go Hair Toy Action Shot(s)
Officially begins. I just posted mine in advance because I have a faculty meeting to attend to, so I will not be here, but I will comment and leave feedbacks on your Wednesday post the day after.
If you have something to do tomorrow, now or whenever you can is the time to post your action shots.
Sorry to move this post here, I just wanted to emphasize that today is still Tuesday treatment and tomorrow is when Wednesday Action shots begin. I just posted mine today because I will not be here tomorrow. For those who cannot make it tomorrow you can post whenever it is best for you.
