Heehee, um yeah :D
Not only that, but the idea of neglecting your hair and being on TLHC is a paradox isn't it? Not gonna happen!

I am still waiting patiently for my hair to grow :eye:
My curls seem to be getting stronger as it edges slowly towards APL so it has started to actually look shorter than it was before.
I am hoping that by September I'll be there, stretched. Pretty please
kyandii - you might check out the Growing out Layers thread here : http://www.longhaircommunity.com/for...=47351&page=48
I'd bet there are people who are the same length as you with similar frustrations! (I was once!) :)
(ETA - I don't say that to imply that you're not welcome here!! Of course you are!! :D )
Went in for a trim the other day. Well, more of a dusting. The girl was really good too. I told here what I wanted and she said "Ah! You're growing it out? I'll just take a tiny bit." :) I did have her slice in some face-framing layers to blend my old bangs in a bit. So I'm still at the same length. It just feels like it is taking forever! Ugh!!! I swear, it was like no time from chin to a bit past SL. Now it feels like I've stalled. Maybe I need to add something to my diet to rev things up a tad.
Hotrox, you're a genius! I swear my hair is getting longer--it feels longer, honest!--but by looking at it, it's at the same dam* length! I'm going to blame it on whurl development. I swear it's getting longer, though. Bah! I'm afraid to measure for fear of disappointment--and then grabbing the scizzors.
I do have to say though, this forum really helps keep my urge to "trim" (ahem--CHOP) much lower than it's been in the past. Keeps me goal-oriented. I never would have even gotten this "long" otherwise.
Gave in and asked daughter to measure today, its 17.75 woohoo:D Wonder if its the rooibos tea or the vitamins helping it to grow, or could be just a combination of both I guess:D
I love oxymorons though :)
I'm excited as I'm at a wedding on friday and I'm getting clip-in extensions for it. For one day only I will be past this awful stage!
I think the reason shoulder-length seems to feel like it's not growing at all is because it has a long way to get to bsl. That, and you have trouble putting it into the beautiful buns I see all the long-haired gurus wearing. *Sigh*
I agree Shelley! When I hit shoulder with no layers I could fake a lovely sock bun however now with layers I can't do anything.
As it's so short there's not many updos we can do with our hair so we just have to let it rest and see where it is most days. Or in my case, see how stubby my ponytail looks :p
