I think when you have curly hair the pulled straight length counts, otherwise it wouldn't be fair. :)

True. :) For most people I know LONG hair starts at around APL. Before they call it 'halblang' in German (half-long) or short when it's around middle neck and shorter.

My hair looks funky here! I asked BF to snap a quick length picture for me when my hair was 90% dry, so it's looking a little frizzy and not it's best!

Still here - was defo APL, then had a layered trim. now I'm not so sure.

My hair is wavy whurly so I err on the side of caution before calling it - prob just be chillin out here for another 6 months before I can then move on to APL / BSL

Love the pampering of a hair cut and the relief of getting it a little bit tamed again after a year or two of unrulyness, and adding a bit of light bounce back into the curls but then I'll start to get impatient and ahh it could be 6 inches longer by now if I'd not chopped! Although it would be 6 inches longer of slightly tangly unshaped flattened wave mess.

in fact simpscone - I suspect you are already APL if your hair was straight - although if you're usually a whurly curly wearer you prob prefer to wait til the curly length has reached it?
