Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!

This is March 1st https://s13.postimg.org/gthwd5s3n/AC...FA44_A2_A9.png
I compare them by the mole dot thing on my right upper back near my bra strap if you can see it and it LOOKS like it’s grown in comparison to that
Edit - I don’t think you will be able to make out the mole in the March photo it’s next to the lower adjustable strap plastic bit iykwim
Otherwise it looks like my hair isn’t growing
I’m also worried I may have wedged the towel further up my armpits this time giving an illusion it has grown more than it actually has
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Anybody learned tricks for braid waves/heatless waves without nasty looking ends? Theyre so straight lol

I'd really love a Maximas, but they're pricey so it will probably be a little while!
I'm not, in fact, going to be leaving here earlier than expected lol. I got a little extra last month, and a little less extra this month, evening out to 1" between the two LOL. So still on track, and will be waiting for April! Which is fine, and I'm not even bothered tbh. I was actually a bit upset at the thought of moving over early! I didn't know what I'd be doing about the pictures, since I was wanting to do quarterly ones! If I was further from the next one (say, last month instead of this one), then I would've taken it and been fine, but I'm so close! Should I wait, should I not? It was nice having that be settled so easily lol.
You're really close, though!! Looks like only a few more inches to me! I think summer is pretty accurate!
I was so lucky to get a Maximas for a very reasonable price on the swap board. I hope one comes up for you :)
Cheering you on for April! Do you think it'll start to feel long once you hit that marker?
I really hope it will be Summer for me! Just did some measurements, and it turns out it's really difficult to measure hair at that level! And hard to measure that particular body marker too, who've have thought... I did find out though that despite being tall (I'm 5' 9"), waist is only 31" on me :happydance: APL looks to be around 22-23" and BSL looks to be around 27". My hair's currently around 21", though I really can't see what I'm doing with only the one mirror in here! Tried not to stretch while measuring, but my hair's day 3 right now and has been in a lot of twists lately so it's pretty straight.

I can deffo see the growth there. :cheer: Also, I've probably said this before, but your hair is lovely. I'm really digging that hemline :)

Those are lovely waves! And the ends don't look bad at all from here, though I see what you mean about them not being as wavy. Could you maybe try a mini paranda? That way your ends will be all in there with the curl pattern, and the paranda will be the only thing poking out at the bottom.

No LOL. I mean, I'm half an inch away and it doesn't really feel long now! I do think it looks long, but it doesn't really feel much longer than it did a year ago tbh.
Speaking of!! In a couple months it'll be my LHC hairniversary, and I'm so excited LOL.
Your APL sounds like it's about where mine is (mine's 22.5" lol), bottom of BSL is 26.5" and waist is 29"! My bra bands are wide, though lol. I feel like APL to BSL will be ages as well, but I might call it a bit earlier than the bottom of my band so that the time there is more even with BSL to waist
You're really close, too! Definitely this summer.

Thank you it’s not such a nice hemline in real life I think the photo makes it look thicker and healthier than it is . I have a lot of bleach damage and uneven ends but thank you anyway :)

I would be happy with even just brushing APL by April
I will stay here until I’m solidly beyond APL though I think
I need to be 100 % that I’m APL solidly
I’ll probably have to let you all judge that as I get closer as I’m useless at it
I spent years having waistlength hair not realising it was that long and it’s only since joining LHC that I looked back at my photos and was like wow my hair was actually waist and below .... how insane is that !!!???
I’ve always admired long hair on others and I never considered myself a long haired person I though I had average hair not long
I visualised it at bra strap length .
It’s only now when growing I realised there is a huge difference between lengths such as neck , shoulder , collarbone , arm put length, bra strap length . I thought you just were either long or short haired . How ignorant I was to everything
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Thanks everyone! I had no idea what a paranda was until just now but thats really cool i'll look into it and also give the pincurls a try!

Best of luck, let us know how it goes! I didn't know what a paranda was until i joined here either - I love how much I'm learning here.

I know what you mean! I had waist length hair several years ago (probably 8 years, now), and just thought it was like BSL or something.
