I understood it wasn't your hair. But yours is a shorter version of that. I know what you mean about the curls being pulled out and i agree about length over curls....I think your hair is awesome. Yes lol, I hate the wings...sigh

vpatt - Thanks! :blushing:
I am switching up my diet to be more "hair friendly". So far, I've added 2 eggs to my breakfast, a banana, and probably an apple with peanut butter to my day. I know fish is good for you, but I can't stomach it, so I'll be taking fish oil capsules instead. Anyone think of anything else? I'm trying to also make sure each meal (3 meals, no snacks) has plenty of protein - probably 25 to 30 grams each meal. Maybe I should think about adding some "green things" too...(not much of a vegetable eater!).

Guys I did it! I reached APL! I will try to take a progress picture later, but no guarantees as taking a picture of myself is hard. I'm excited to have reached it about when I expected, which means my growth rate is still an average of an inch a month.

Yay for you! That's a good growth rate.

Congrats Vallena!
On a super happy note, my hair is feeling long today. I keep whipping it around, but then I remember I'm OLD and shouldn't do such neck-jarring motions...

Lol, I am just imagining the conversation between you and your doctor as you try to explain how you injured your neck.

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
When my curl is pulled out I'm about 2 inches from APL. Curly I'm still at CBL. I don't think I'll fully consider myself graduated until my curls reach APL - my hair never seems to grow longer when curly!

I thought everyone had graduated the thread but me for now! We are about the same then - when I pull, I am still about 2 inches away. But, it won't feel longer unless it's APL curly.

I'm still here :couch: I'm guessing it'll be the end of month when I call APL, but my hair is finicky and sometimes it looks shorter - I blame the photos. :p
