Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Great idea to spread some hair-love :cloud9: I hope to see lists like these from many many more of you!
I love my hair because...
... it's my own, unique hair
... as someone who has had many hair problems, I have learned appreciate the hair I do have on a whole new level
... it's shiny
... it's healthy
... it doesn't really split
... my natural colour turned out to be (after growing out my own colour) more beautiful and becoming on me that I could ever have imagined, so...
... I love my hair colour
... I love that my silver are coming in, in fact, as snow whites
... it's easy to care
... it's easy to style
... I can wear it wavy or straight or rock'n'roll-inbetween
... it's shiny
... the thickness makes it just right: It's thick enough to have thick hemline and thin enough to avoid blanket-look, also thin enough to allow me to do tons of hairstyles (I still wish I will get my lost thickness back, but these things would still apply after that), the texture makes it look thicker than it is, offering the best of both worlds
... my texture allows me to braid easily
... I think my hair is beautiful
... when I want to dye, my hair takes the dye nicely
... it's starting to be long
... I have even growth rate I can count on
... I have natural volume (I used to be able to only dream of)
... it's shiny
Probably many more if I'd sit here thinking for a bit longer.

Ooh, this is a great list - plenty of more ideas for me to steal for my 'like' list!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Thanks Pol!
I think I have about 2 cm till APL, but it's a bit hazy estimation as self-measuring is useless to me, and photos can lie too.
I filmed a hair tutorial yesterday, a damage-free messy topknot bun. I will need to edit it which will take a long time (which I don't really have). I might even end up re-filming it without speaking outloud, it would be easier to edit, and I wouldn't need to be mortified with all the stupic mistakes I did, ha ha.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Arctic, maybe we will call it about the same time. I will probably still be stretching mine to reach APL by another month or so. But it will be closer by then. I will have a buddy to graduate with.
I think at waist I will be able to tell easier.
I talked to a lady at the theater today (watched movie about the mine collapse in Chile) about long hair and how much easier it is to keep than short hair. Hers was close to waist.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
How nice you got a chance to talk hair with someone IRL! I rarely do!
Ooh it would be amazing to graduate together, then we could throw a graduation party ha ha :D If my hair grows steadily, then it miiiight be able to reach APL by the end of the year, if not then, maybe in January. If I'll get a growth spurt, then I think I will definitely reach APL this year!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Having a trim today, so I guess I'll hang here for a while before moving out :D (okay I admit it, I like to be here, you're all so nice!)

Yes, this is a wonderful group. Probably one reason I decided not to leave so soon, lol.

I will begin inversion massage again to try to keep up with you, lol. I have gotten lazy with the massage. Graduation party....hmmm.....at least a cake, lol.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I love my hair because it makes me look more beautiful :D
--------------
My hair is now on CBL and I'll reach APL in the end of next summer.
I hate this lenght because I cant wear my hair open. My ends are always rubbing on my shoulders :/
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Nope - how can it be that even after a trim (okay it was the tiniest trim ever seen) I'm somewhat at apl? But... but... I don't want to leave yet :D
