If it helps i have the ingredients of the dry shampoo here (it's the batiste medium/brunette):
butane, isobutane, propane, oryza sativa (rice) starch, alcohol denat. parfum, limonene, linalool, distearyldimonium chloride, cetrimonium chloride, CI77491, CI 77499
I guess it could be irritating to some because of the alcohol denat., but all it is is rice starch absorbing some of the grease in your hair. I really like it for now, but there's an interesting thread on LHC somewhere (i'm too lazy to look for it now ) about using cocoa powder as a dry shampoo of sorts (for people with darker hair that is). The people that have tried it have reported pretty good results, so i think i'll experiment a little with that tomorrow :)
Also: check out these
hairsticks !!!
I know they're reserved, but wouldn't it be awesome to have a pair of color-changing hairsticks?? *drool*
Ok the ingredients looks fine to me, plus i'll probably be oiling my ends just to prevent any dry effects of any form of alcohol. I'll probably work on stretching my washes just a little because I wash my hair every other day. If I can stretch it out to two days then I'll definitely give it a go.
Those are cool looking sticks:cool:. I wish she would sell other designs with the mood liquid in it. Don't you find it annoying sometimes to see something you like and it's already reserved. I usually like to buy it out right if I like something, but I know this person might need some time to think about it or ask more questions. Still I'm finding quite a lot of "reserved for"on etsy these days! Like these sticks. ughhhhh

Yeah i also found a lot of forks that i liked (like these) and i wonder if they couldn't just make the same ones for me as well :p.. i'm really thinking about sending an e-mail to nightblooming to ask if she would make those color changing sticks for me as well... i'm not sure she will though :(

jumping in with my first post. My hair is almost APL. I've been growing it back for some time now and I'm a slow grower. I hanging here to learn some ways to get it healthier and more apt to stick around!

hmm well it doesn't hurt to try. Plus if she wants more money I don't think it should be an issue. Especially if there is a demand for it....:o

Those are really pretty too (especially the dragonfly ones!), but since it's only the sticks that change colors, not the decorations, i don't think they'll be as much fun to wear as the sticks are mostly hidden in my hair anyways :(

True, I'm still desperate for some of the glow in the dark ones though.:sun:

Just out of topic, but I soooo miss The UK. Fish and chips, Boots and a bunch of little shops I'd frequent! Although no one warned me that some venders would automatically put vinegar on my chips hence when I dip it with ketchup I get a strong burn. :blueeek: LoL Just fond memories I have as a silly American tourist.

Thank you! It's going to take me a meeellion years to read everything and figure things out. I have always been a person to play with my hair so I'm lost in the styles part right now. :)
That said, I'm also trying to learn about all the CO options. I always assumed I couldn't use it with such fine hair. It looks like I'm wrong! I'm also fascinated by the whole condition before cleanse thing.
So much to learn!
