Sorry for the clutter in the uncropped image...can I call this APL? If I draw a line from armpit to armpit in Paint, the hemline in the middle just barely touches. Does that count?

Also, I find the synergy of WCC, RO and LOC to be working very well. You need to use little product, especially in the LOC phase, for it to be really working. I am low porosity too and have to use everything sparingly. And you don't have to spend too much time with the two conditioners on. Shower cap though is useful. It's the layering that does the magic. At the end I come out with hair that stay moisturized for a whole week, and with other methods this would have been simply unthinkable. Maybe with CO-wash, but I am paranoid too about the shedding, so I go back and forth on that one.
The double conditioner in WCC is also the best answer I have found so far to detangling problems. Maybe not your first concern though, lucky 2-typer!
I currently wash my hair with "harsh normal shampoos", meaning those containing SLS :p My hair has never really "said" anything about it, it's just the poof and frizz-crown that bothers me I guess.
My hair has never really stood out to me as dry either, but I guess it might be (?). Doing all those three sounds like something that would weight down my hair a lot, but I suppose I could try, haha. That's one annoying thing about my hair, it seems to only have two settings: too much or nothing at all. Either I don't feel that I've used product at all, or it's just too much of it.
I have to get a shower cap, and I think I will try WCC first, with a liberal amount of conditioner. And then maybe the cleansing conditioner after that one, if I manage to find one (found one in sweden so far, and it's not cheap). It's a bummer that CO-washing made me shed, else it was quite nice.
I might try to combine the other ones after that, but I don't have anything for the C stage in LOC.

I know that I called APL when my longest few bits reached that line :) I think it counts! Congrats!

Mine is BSL and/or not chopping til I reach 5 years of growth (April 2020). My current length is the longest it's ever been as an adult (I'm going on 31!)...I have no idea if I will even like "long" hair on myself and figure BSL will allow me to gauge that.
What are your long term goals? :cheer:
My longest has been about BSL, but since I wasn't taking care of it super well (I didn't wash often, that's always been a thing, but it was still like 2-3x a week unlike just weekly now) I don't think that my experiences then were too too accurate. Half of my problems came from tangling while I slept, and if this sleep cap helps with that, then I really don't have any reason to not grow for a very long time!
Anyway, my current goal is hip, but it was waist when I joined . And now I'm like "But TBL would be nice... And classic is lovely!" So my goal is now just "???? Long???"

I sure would!! Congrats!!
ETA: And don't forget to change your signature! You're officially not SL anymore!

I completely missed this comment, haha! I don't know what my goal is, last time I grew my hair out I reached what was my first goal, waist, and if felt so short! I was able to do buns with hair sticks just shortly before reaching waist length, so if I want to be able to do that again, I have to have hair that long or longer.
I have no idea how long hair I want, I suppose waist is my first goal, but my ultimate goal might be tbl/classic or something like that, I would like to be able to make huge buns
A length shot from august 2016, before I cut it all off :silly:

It looks so much longer than it felt like, haha.

My current length goal is to get to APL when dry/curly, and after that to get to APL with virgin hair. But if I like it at APL I might just keep growing until it doesn't look good anymore. Probably not past waist though, maybe just BSL. I think I'll get APL by the end of the year or maybe early next year.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
New month, new photo!
I am so, so close to hitting solid APL. Waiting one more month before calling it :D
