What a great idea! I think I'll make a notebook of hairstyles too! I also need to spend some time trying to teach myself how to braid. I usually start out good & then I loose track of what I'm doing and make a mess of it. It doesn't help that my hair is really thin and slips out of place....but I will keep trying until I get it. :)
Do you mind if I join? I was in the APL to BSL thread, but during this last LHC outage I had to trim off about 4 inches.
TheLuckyLurker Welcome!!! :)
SunLightShines, your hair looks really really good, and a great start for long hair!!!
I have pics in one e-mail account and pinterest for style ideas, I guess those are my notebooks.
Hello everyone, I guess I can join here now... I have just about reached shoulder length. I have had really short hair forever and am growing out from a pixie. Now that I have reached shoulder I might have to stay here for a while and get my thin lengths to thicken up some. In the last few months I have realized that my hair is too thin and fragile to highlight it to super blonde and let hair grow at the same time. So now I am trying to go more natural in order to have healthier hair. Right now I have started an experiment of washing with clay instead of harsh shampoo. Just to see what my hair looks like without all those cones and so far I am loving it. So I am wishing you all good luck growing...
wow, your hair grew quickly! Mine was much slower to get from my pixie to shoulder length. My hair looks quite similar to yours in structure, just in blonde... And still a little shorter. My hair was quite layered, so it feels a little thin and doesn't hold a style easily. I am on the look out for nice styling ideas, too. I am mostly wearing ponytails, often with a french braid. At my last hairdresser session I had some z-shaped flatiron curls that I loved. But that is a style that I probably won't do often on my own, as it takes forever to do it and will most certainly ruin my hair with heat.
