Can I join? I was growing out damaged hair, but I went in a pool and the chemicals were just too much for it and I lost a big chunk. So just before Christmas I decided to give in to the inevitable and cut it off. I have a bob that reaches the base of my neck. It's not quite to shoulder yet, but almost!
Welcome Sunlightshines! Sorry to hear about you losing some of your hair but what remains looks so healthy and thick! I did the same thing; when I ditched the hair dye, I kept my hair super short until it was all gone. It feels great to have a fresh start.
I just started using these and they are fab!!
*sigh* I've reached the dreaded triangle stage. The curls are getting curlier and so the ends of my hair stick way out. My hair is very fine and any amount of leave in weighs the strands down and pulls the curls straight at the roots, which is no more attractive  so I guess I'll be wearing my hair up a lot now.
This morning, when I looked in the mirror, my first thought was that my hair looks like every other Mom in the county.
Note to self: "Self, you are making progress from that adorable pixie last winter."
Great progress!!!
On another note do any of you have any favorite you tube vids or people for our current length? I drool over several fellow lch people but all of them have such long hair! The care and other tips are fabu but most of the styles are well out of my reach and a lot of the shorter or medium length vids start with things like heat or hair spray which are big no nos for my hair. I am at collar bone now by the way, I can do a couple of half up buns, French braids, ponies and sock buns.
I'm not sure if I'm posting this right, but... I thought maybe you would like to try the Gibson Tuck. Lilith Moon has a great tutorial/video on how to create it.
