I know ive asked this before but yeah, i think its intresting to know how long you´ve all got til you reach your goal, so... when do you expect to reach APL?
I am hoping for APL by graduation (june.) Is that to much to hope with my almost-CBL-hair?
I was aiming for the end of the year, then it was pushed back to Easter, now I think my birthday (early June) is more realistic. I'm also at collarbone (19.25").
Definitely by my birthday in December, and I'll give it some tender love and care.
I am about an inch past collarbone and hoping for APL by the end of the year, but realistically I know it probably won't be until march or april 2013.
Hi guys! Thought I'd join this thread although I'm not entirely sure whether my length qualifies as shoulder or not. It's a bit weird being back here now when I was on here from May to July 2011, obviously it's all different people now, but I'm excited to get to know you guys and spend some time here. I expect to be here for at least 5 months. Now for the pictures and little back story about my hair. When I join LHC in May 2011, I had decided to stop being abusive to my hair. I had maybe 1/2 inch or 1 inch of roots back then. I then proceeded to grow my hair for a while, only trimming about 4 inches of my growth. I knew I should have been cutting those nasty bleached length but I just wanted to keep my hair long!
Here is one of the last length shots I could find of my long hair in June this summer:

My hair was so damaged that I decided that dreading it was the only feasible way to keep it long so I then had it in dreads:

So that was this summer, but then I went and got married and on my honeymoon, I didn't do maintenance on my dreads for about 2 days and ended up having this solid clump of hair at the back of my hair that had to be cut out (I promise you there's nothing I could have done, I tried everything).
After removing my dreads, I went and got a haircut professionally for the first time in ages and got a plunging bob (longer in front then back) then about a couple weeks ago I just couldn't stand seeing the damage anymore and cut the front short too!

So here we are, sorry for the long story but this is me now, I feel weird having "short" hair but my hair hasn't been that healthy in a long long time (probably since I was 12!) so I think, maybe it was all worth it? At any rate, I'm excited to be doing this journey again with you guys and join in on the TTT fun!
