Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Just a quick little rant.
My hair seemed to zoom to shoulder and is now refusing you get to APL. I dyed my hair at the begining of August to match my roots, and cheekily add in a blue underlayer to my fringe and I have no roots! It's been a month and a half nearly and I'm nowhere close to my average 0.5" a month growth :(
I may have to start my Hair, Skin and Nails supplements again. It's discouraging because the last time I was growing my hair I went from Shoulder to APL in 6months, then APL to BSL in another 6months without vitamins! I must've been doing something very different since my monthly growth rate slowed to 0.5" a month. I wonder if I could remember what it was. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Argh, it's so frustrating. I refuse to allow myself to check my length in a mirror until the first of the month (otherwise I'd obsessively check every day), but I think it might be APL now. I had a couple months of super, super-slow growth, and now it seems to be speeding up to compensate. Or there's something to be said for wearing a bun every single day to promote growth, who knows.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Redneckprincess I've decided to do a two-monthly photo to see how much difference an inch really makes, because an inch looks really small on the measuring tape :p However I am behind on my picture taking. I'll take one the next time I shower and deep condition. I gave up the measuring tape for the 90days challenge so the photos are the only evidence I have of growth.

I think I've hit APL. You can see the latest length in my profile pic. Now I guess it's either cut back to SL or go on to BSL.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Can I call my avatar picture shoulder length? It was taken today. APL seems too long to me, but I hope to get there in april 2011. In the meantime, I will continue with my routine: no cone poo, CWC wash, different rinses, like rosemary, camomille, calendula etc and tons of coconut oil. My hair loves it!

Yes, thats a solid shoulder length, well on the way to APL :D
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
My hair is about the same lenght, but I'm far away from the lazy wrap bun. Maybe it's the layers combined with curls and thick hair.
