_fred_ you're not alone, my son called mine shoulder length as well. It's understandable though, "normal" people haven't a clue what APL is :rolleyes:
I keep getting to APL then trimming. I've done it again, but I'm completely dye free now, so it's worth it. It doesn't even feel that short, as long as I don't do the towel test it feels the same. Plus what I lost in length I gained in shape. So feeling more positive, rather than frumpy and scruffy, which I was feeling.
My hair is sort of having a growth spurt..

I can finally put in 2 French braids! I’ve had the length to do this for awhile but never the technique. It’s so nice being able to do something different with my hair.

OKAY for some reason no image sharing site links show up when i use them here suddenly i went through so many tinypic bootlegs and finally just had to make a tumblr draft and copy the image there so weird
