Oh, thickness is so tricky for me, but you are right, I am probably closer to ii/iii i just never think to change it.

My son has been learning how to use a lathe over the past couple of months. He made me a lovely hair stick out of honey locust yesterday. It has a natural knot with hole at the top. It's so pretty! Unfortunately, my hair is too short for it right now, but I think I'm going to have to grow out to APL at least so I can use it (plus my other idle hair implements).

My ends are flip flip flipping away. I think before I was optimistic that I would hit APL in November. Now I'm not so sure.

I measured today, and gained .5" this past month! I'll hit APL... eventually :laugh: I'm a bit more chill about it now, than I have been the past few months. Probably because I've been listening to The Adventure Zone every day and it just makes me feel so good and happy about everything.

Eastbound&Down, your hair looks so thick! Nice braids!

ETA: I have about 2 inches before APL. :meditate:

I had my youngest DS take this pic last week. I'm SO close. I WAS planning on calling it when my hair reached the top of that second black bar (which is where my armpit crease is), which it has. But now I'm thinking I should wait until it reaches the bottom of it. My plan right now is to wait until the 19th and check again :eye:

That's great growth, and it looks so healthy! I remember you said that your profile pic was cut off at APL - are you waiting for some shorter lengths to reach the bar before you call it?

I'm not sure what I'm waiting for, lol. The bulk of my hair is actually a little longer than my armpit crease.

I don't mind waiting until the 19th to officially call it. Besides, I'll have a nice head start in the next thread :lol:
