Hi and welcome! :blossom: Best of luck with the no-trim plan!
I hope the pic shows a ton of growth :D
I can't quite wrap my head around how there's only a week and a half of September left. I've got to the stage where I need to be careful when I brush my teeth because minty hair isn't quite the look I'm after. That's pretty cool. I can also get all of it (aside from the face framing bits) into a tiny bun now while keeping my ears covered :happydance:
I know! This year is zipping right on by!

Not too far to go! :cheer:

I think I need another 2-3 months until I'm there, if I stretch it I would probably be there in less than one month, but that's not the way I go.

Beautiful hair, Estrid! You're making wonderful progress!

Me either! If you were to ask I'd say it's still early August lol.

Estrid your hair is so gorgeous.

As for me, almost all of my hair will now stay up however I put it, which is nice! The front still falls a little, but there's less there now than there was. If I pull it straight back, instead of leaving the part, then it all stays!
I also did a bun drop last night  My hair was day 4? And so it wants to stay however it was put for the most part. So I go to take it down and had to do a little shake! I was very proud of myself :rollin:

Estrid your hair is simply beautiful.
Corvana it's so nice to be able to put it all up(ish). I've cut and grown my hair many times, and always felt that that was the nicest milestone.
I'm finally seeing some growth in my hair, but I've been blow drying it more, so it looks longer than my normal curls. I think I'll be APL plus by the end of the year, I don't measure, so I'm not sure.

That's great, that your hair stays up! It's a nice achievement and makes hairdo's so much easier. Can't wait to get there as well!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Looked back at my old pictures, it took me about 18 months to get from SL+ to BSL+. Patience Eastbound, patience!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
My last haircut in May was shoulder length in the front and less than that in the middle of the back, so an angled lob. I haven't cut since then until today. I had it reshaped so that it's exactly the same length all the way around, about collarbone. Then she shagged it up a bit with long layers to encourage my wave and curl. I had begun to hate my hair, thinking I regretted cutting it and wished it to be long. Now I love the short length again. Right how I have twin dutch braids for sleeping in attempt to tame all the curly fly-aways that stand up all over the surface of my hair. The hair ties will probably slip off sometime during the night however because I'm a tosser/turner.
