I plan to start drinking protein drinks too, this month. They'll be my new experiment.

I'm starting to use Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner. People always bragged to me their growth from it but I'm kinda nervous because I don't know if I like the way it makes my hair feel. But lets see if my growth fastens up a bit
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I'm not doing anything special for hair growth just yet. I've only just started properly growing and measuring and I want to get a handle on my normal growth rate first.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I also got mane n' tail shampoo (no conditioner). So far I like the way it makes my hair feel, let's hope it also makes it grow!

That is really sensible! I hadn't thought of that  I'm in such a rush to get growing - I've even been looking at the anti-fungal cream idea...:hmm:

Well I figured that I could start out with vitamins, anti-fungal stuff etc but then I'd never know if the growth I was getting was a result of this or if it would have done it anyway. I'm all about saving effort and money  Ideally I should grow for a whole year first to account for seasonal changes in growth, it remains to be seen if I have the patience for that ;)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I tried to hold off on experimenting with growth things, but I hardly made it a week!
ETA: Speaking of growth things, today marks the official end of my 4 week rooibos experiment. I'll post my pic.s on TTT

how is everybody? I am rather excited, because my parents got a pool today! :applause: although my hair will not be a fan of the chlorine, but my body will be a fan of the exercise. I'll jsut have to get one of those flowery synchronised swimming caps ^^
I'm glad that you're feeling better!
I wish I had a pool! And a flowery swimming cap sounds awesome-it looks great and protects your hair-2 in 1. :D

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I just measured a day early, I'm now at 18.5". That puts me at 0.75" per month so far, I'm pretty happy with that growth rate. Pictures tomorrow!
