Getting closer! I think I'll be APL by summer, if I'm lucky. My hair was barely brushing the top of my shoulders in mid-November. I haven't measured my length in a while, I'm trying to channel my benign neglect skills.

I know I'm growing more hair, but instead of adding noticeable length it just keeps. getting. bigger! Seriously, I didn't miss my Hermione hair all that much and I wish it would get long enough to settle itself down already. I'm trying to hold off on trimming since my ends are in such good shape after the last clarify and conditioning treatment, but I still can't help but think that getting the layers cleaned up and the ends trimmed might make it lay down a little better. I'm thankful now that I have the layers even if they are looking a little shaggy at the moment, 'cause nobody's got time for triangle head around here. I do look markedly less like a wild animal when I get up in the morning. Doesn't do a whole lot for my looks as I still style my hair or pull it back before I let another human see me, but I does improve my mood a bit.
I'll be taking five month post-chop pictures tonight/tomorrow morning. So be on the lookout for those. I can't believe it's been five months already. I can't wait to see how much things have changed.
Only 1/2 cm this past 4 weeks and that's being generous. Why oh why oh why. Biotin, vits, scalp massage, montistat they are all failing me!!!!!!!
I'm never going to get there. Anyone else with rubbish growth like this??????
What dosage of Biotin? How long of a scalp massage? How frequent are your scalp massages? What vitamins?
Monsitat doesn't work for everyone. It's anti fungal so if your scalp does not have a fungus or excess of bacteria that is affecting your hair growth then it won't work.

:)
I'm with you on triangle head. Any side views of my hair show some ridiculous monster trying to escape the back of my head. It starts to lay a little flatter some time after APL for me. Can't wait to have it long enough to put in a new hemline (I like the V on myself) and turn the leftover angled bob I used for growing it out into some kind of intentional layering I can deal with later.
This is me too, every day LOL i'm counting on some extra length this spring/summer . Sadly I sometimes catch myself lightly pulling on my hair to make it grow lol. I have layers too, I cut most of them off in one go which I don't recommend. I went from APL to SL too suddenly. It sounds like you're slowly cutting that is what I should have done.
It is interesting reading this thread as I will probably join sometime soon. I currently have BSL hair, but I am growing out my natural hair color. As soon as it reaches my shoulders I will cut it off. I've never had shoulder length hair (except from when I was a little kid) so this will be a bit challenging for me.
