Speaking of toys that hold well. I recently got a Lady Idun mini and a quattro 3 prong flex fork. Both hold really well in a lazy wrap bun. My gts forks are getting a bit lonely this week.

No, really... I love GTS and they hold very well. However, I have also fallen in love with the 60th street forks. They are very lightweight and sleek and streamlined. They are very comfortable. I got several off of swap. (speaking of which, I need to check my PO box for packages!)
Although it's my GTS canarywood that's in my hair right now.
wooliswonderful - well that looks lovely and thick :)
I am on the lookout for a fork! What is a good functional length for our hair length? My hair is thick, ponytail is 5.5", and that's without my bangs and some layers that are too short to get into the pony.
I love love love that folded braid..
I think my GTS fork has a functional length of something like 4.5". But I'm actually not sure at all...
My yellowheart GTS is getting lonely too. I've been really lazy with my hair the past week or so, I've mostly just done an lwb. I'm getting a canary wood GTS as soon as the shop opens back up, I can't wait!
Thank you so much, everyone, for the info on hair forks! I've never had hair past my shoulders in my life so I'm truly clueless about styling. I'm itching to get a fork now. I love the way wooden hair toys look but I was worried I would have to wait a long, long time before trying one. I'm going to start shopping around now!
It's a slippery slope.
It's all Kimi's fault for moving. I started daydreaming on the hair toy threads and etsy and before you know it new pretties came to live with me. I still have one otw this week. A Elymwold stick. I'm sure I'll be back to gts next week.
I'm also going to be getting another gts when they open back up. A Koa mini Dune. I'm super excited about that one.
