Managed a kinda flat weird braided bun today the regular way (I usually roll it in on itself from the top, the way I used to do a flipped braid. This time I tried it as an actual bun, and I had just enough hair!). You can just about see one of the tiny metal butterflies I treated myself to the other day. I'm trying to stop focusing on the fact that it'll be several months yet before I hit APL and enjoy the length I already have.
ETA - this held literally all day at work, which was amazing considering today was a pretty frantic day with a lot of being outside and rushing around.

It's purple actually. I guess I don't know the right way to post a photo. I'll search some more and see if I can fix it. It's been over 6 months since I had a trim and I am growing out from an inverted bob with a shaved neck so it's longer in front than in the middle in back, lol.

Congrats on growing out an inverted bob btw - from what I've read that can have some awkward stages. Growing out a regular bob was awkward enough!
Re. image posting, I'm looking at the code for your image and I think I can see why it's not playing ball. It should look like this [ IMG ]URL GOES HERE[ /IMG ], but without the spaces. You've got some extra stuff in there and I wonder if that's what's making it fail to show up.
