Hi, I used to hang out here like 12 years ago. Let my hair grow since... come to think of it, I don't even know. Anyway, I haven't cut my hair in months just because I want to do some kind of updo for an event this fall. :D Problem is I need superglue to keep my houdini hair contained, so we'll see how that plan works out.
This thread will be my home for a little while. Recently trimmed from a few inches below armpit to a little bit above. I don't really have a specific goal yet, but I think my hair lays nicer when it's a bit longer than it is now.
Tried the towel trick I saw on here and realized I'm already APL in the back, so I guess I'm graduating to the next thread!
I'm currently somewhere between shoulder length & armpit, but it's hard to say because of the layers!

Sorry for double posting.... Eek! sorry for the gigantic pictures! I'm still getting the hang of this forum stuff
I hardly ever post pictures, so don't hold your breath. I use an outside hosting service (Imgur), so I'm not as affected by the inability to update my profile picture or avatar (which I never change and don't use a personal picture). The picture in my profile is about two years old and my Facebook picture even older (three years).
I hated mine shoulder length, since I hate my hair on my neck and always wanted to put it back. Since it was too short, even my signature ponytail didn't work, since it kept falling out since there wasn't enough hair to keep it in place. The shortest I'll go is APL, since then at least the ponytail stays in (with longer hair, it's the hair tie that can fall out, not the hairstyle itself).
Ah yes I've been using imgur, I had a bit of a boo-boo on my into post to the forum where I thought I'd uploaded a picture but it didn't show
That's fair enough, I know not everyone likes to have their pictures up online, privacy is a valuable thing, especially now in this ever more online world!
Yes it is quite frustrating, when my hair was much longer I used hair combs & sticks quite a lot, & I'm forever saddened that I'm not long enough to use them just yet! I am a bit tender headed, so ponytails & claw clips tend to give me a headache after a while (which I never got with combs & sticks!) I don't really like wearing my hair down at the moment as it's the perfect length to whip me in the face with the wind!
