Woohoo congrats ish!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I have little tufts of hair growing in all over my head and they are making hair styling difficult. They are creating tangles, which I really do not want. I struggle to make parts in my hair look neat and clean, and these have just made it much more difficult to get clean parts.
I am determined to keep wearing my hair up until APL is reached though, ugly hairstyles included!

Oh, I feel that. I am micro trimming away bleach but I also want my hair to grow a few inches past my shoulders so it doesn’t curl outwards anymore. So the only way to forget about it is to put my hair up, though it doesn’t necessarily look good with such short hair. Hopefully we’ll get over this stage soon :).

That's the spirit. Onwards and bottomwards? downwards?....to longer lengths!

Yes, downwards definitely sounds good! I'll be able to actually see my growth when that happens :).

Thank you, I think I spoke too soon and I'm calling APL this month. I measured my hair a couple of days ago and it was 60cm, it grew 2cm in a month! (That's some crazy growth compared to my 0.8cm monthly growth).
I'll try to share a picture later today as my "official" graduation from this thread :p I'll still hang around here until my hair reaches APL curly thought.

Agh, it can be so frustrating to grow your hair sometimes, isn't it? You gain length but other things begin to bother you. But I'm curious how longer hair is making it harder to part your hair? One could think the opposite is true.
Edit to add my "graduation" pic :happydance:, it's from a month ago but I think it still shows the length (stretched)

Hey CuteCrow your hair is looking lovely.
I meant that the tufts of hair growing in are making it difficult for me to part my hair; they are creating tangles and are not long enough to be stretched as part of my plaits or twists yet. Quite pesky!

Thank you everyone! I have to say that picture was taken on a good hair day, my hair doesn't look like that on a daily basis :p

Ough, I feel you. I don't know if it's breakage or just new growth but I have a lot of hair that doesn't reach anywhere and just love to curl/frizz on their own. So annoying.
