miss_asimov, I absolute adore that wig.
A shed update:
It started to let up a little, but then bam. Tonight it was just awful. I'm oiling with neem now (ew.) and babying my scalp as much as I possibly can. This is getting insane, my hair seems a lot thinner AND I WANT THIS TO STOP!
Thank you.
For your help and support Loepsie went through a big unexplained shed, and she's just starting to grow back.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Bunnysaur, it sounds more like a hormonal thing to me... Did you recently change your birthcontrol or had a hormonal change in any way? I really hope that babying your scalp and the oiling will help...
I've conditioned my hair this morning with l'oreal chroma care or something, supposed to "restore" your color... I got the "mother of pearl" version, to counteract the warmth in my hair. Don't notice much, but the apricot oil in the conditioner works really well on my hair, it's so soft...
The warm weather has arrived, and resulted in a nice growth spurt! I'll post my TTT pictures on thursday, but I'm pretty much beyond APL on my longest layers. I'll be moving along to the next thread, and sort of hoping that the warm weather growth will continue well in my journey to BSL (about 10 cms to go)

I last changed it almost a year ago. If this doesn't stop by the time I go back to school, I'll go to the student health center and see what the nurse can tell me.

thanks :) If I remember correctly, that one was L'Oreal Féria in P37 - Plum Power, but on the picture it's pretty faded out, about a 6 weeks old.
I just used Syoss Mixing Colours in 5-32 (Plum-Dark red) yesterday and it's amazing; much closer to the colour of the wig. I'll try and get a picture.
@Bunnysaur thanks, it's from Lockshop, a lovely Dutch girl :)

This is my hair freshly trimmed and freshly dyed with Syoss 5-32 in blinding sunlight with my mother's index finger ^^ It's a little more purple in real life, but I just can't seem to get a good picture of that.

and the quality is really good. I wrote a review of it, although I don#t know whether that link will work. Hopefully soon my own hair will be long enough that I wont need it ^^

This is my check-in for this past month's growth. I had a bit of a relapse last month and started straightening it again, which is why it looks so lovely and silky last time :(
Ah well, still some growth visible even without straightening, I think!
Also, miss_asimov, that colour is beautiful!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
OMG. I'm an idiot...
I"ve been thinking "gosh hare, y u soo shurt?!" for the past few weeks. Well, a few weeks ago I trimmed about .5" off due to damage. So there.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
So, I'm already oiled up for Treatment Tuesday, is everyone prepared for this month's Towel Test Thursday?
