Hi, I'm new!
I've been a lurker for a long time and wanted to join but registration was closed for ages. Finally open so here I am!
I think my hair is shoulder length and I want to grow it to about waist - so APL is the next goal!
Me, me, me! I'm heading for APL. I've got a few inches to go, hopefully by Christmas I'll be there, but I might be a bit ambitious ...
Hi all, new to this thread.
Ive been growing for a year and a half (?) from a straight, chin bob. I can now get my ends stuck in my arm pits! Yay.... of course this means unwanted, alcohol based product sometimes comes into contact with my ends. They were already crunchy b4. Ive clarified and since fixed most of the problem, but I still get "fairy knots" all over.
Only two ways to go, and I want to go longer!
Keep growing! :)
Welcome, New Ones!
@ Flittingsis: My hair hasn't been this long since I was little. :spitting: How did I not see that coming? I'll be careful as I approach APL!
I'm going to the salon for a cut tonight :agape: I want my bangs back and some long layers (my hair desperately needs a style! plus it's kinda dry too). I'm TERRIFIED haha, but I'd have to go one day anyway. It will now probably take a bit longer before I reach APL, so I'm not gone soon! ;)
I never had a cut when my hair was this long, as in: a professional cut. I always cut my hair myself (which looked horrible omg, what was I thinking??), so I'm kinda curious how it will be haha!
Have fun at the salon oktobergoud! I won't be doing the salon thing myself since my hair is always up anyways so I want as much of my hair to go as long as it will go. That and I am working on terminal length just because I can. Welcome to all the new folks! Maybe we'll liven up a bit again! I am basicly waiting for another inch of growth before I call APL so who know's how much longer I'll be kicking about over here. Stupid hair stalls.
Hey all!
I hit a new milestone- Braids are actually sticking (two little ones, still not long enough for a single braid) with just hair ties. No need to pin. YAY!!
Also, its time for a trim (I'm growing out an inverted bob, so still trying to get things back to even), but I am so nervous she's going to get too much of my length. I think I will skip this trim and just keep wearing my hair in half ups, so no one will be able to tell the front is longer than the back.
Bad idea?
