Yeah but it doesn't feel like it because not all the hair is at APL yet! If the front of my hair reaches APL non-stretched I'll call it APL! :) I think that will still take like 3 months or so though :)

I have just made it to APL (photos next weekend!) but if I waited until all my hair was APL I'd be here for ages and well on the way to BSL because I cut my hair in a U shape and have short face-framing layers. Good for you oktobergoud though to have so much patience, I definitely don't
Palaeoqueen- Looking forward to your pics!
Oktobergoud - Yay for hitting APL! Hmmmm, that is strange about the argan oil, maybe you could add a drop or two of your favorite EO?
Hi guys! Finally made it back to shoulder length after cutting my hair into an inverted bob last year after my wedding. I am planning to grow to APL and then maintain at that length until i have grown out my layers. Should reach APL february/march of 2014, so about 8 months to grow 5 inches.
Hi, all -- I finally have a milestone to share!
It's grown past my shoulders just enough that I was able to pull all of my hair off to one side and have it stay there instead of just automatically falling back into place. I know that doesn't seem very long to most people, but growing out from bald takes a loooooooooooong time. I am going to take every small victory I can get! ;)

I was at bsl, but I cut it to make it all even, to cut out the layers I had so... here I am, back to shoulder lenght. But I like it more now, cause it looks thicker without layers.
Welcome, alabaster and natural_shine!
Congrats on the mini-milestone, Medievalmaniac! Your hair is gorgeous!
Neecola -- Thanks for the compliment! The one benefit to shaving your head is starting from scratch with no heat or chemical damage at all -- just the occasional henna gloss. :eyebrows:
