Hey guys, sorry I'm so late with my TTT update! Didn't wash my hair until today. Still a good couple of months to go! But that's kind of what I was expecting so I guess I can hang on a little longer :D

There is clear progress on everyone!
As for myself, I was on holiday and totally off-line last week. I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet and I think I'll just skip this month. I'm in the middle of a stretching washes experiment anyway and if I let my hair down it ain't pretty at the moment.
Another thing I was wondering about... most of you seem to take the measurements when the hair is wet. Is that the "official" way to measure? For myself that always seems kind of like cheating ;). I don't think I would feel like I had APL hair unless it looked APL dried... I don't inted to offend here, I'm reallt just wondering... :o
Anyway, I just love looking at the pictures in this thread :D

I know that at least for me, rowie, and terra, as curlies we get the most accurate measurements when wet/damp. Since our hair could curl very differently from day to day, and because of shrinkage, if we measured when dry, we may measure at 22" one day, 25" the next, and 20" the day after that! ;)
Yeah, I'm doing mine wet at the moment to try and get some consistency too. As you can see from my sig and avatar, the degree of waviness and curls in my hair vary so much when it's dry :)

You're so close, lunamummy!
I know it's not Treatment Tuesday yet, but it's finals week for me (thank god I only have 2 this semester!) and I'm probably not going to have time to do it on Tuesday. I ended up getting one of those little packet hair masks at Walmart tonight and using that.
I just rinsed it out, and while my hair feels pretty smooth, I had to spend longer than I usually do combing it out and detangling. Do you think this is because of the mask, or because my hair is getting to a length where tangles are actually possible?

Wow, Lunamummy, looking great, aren't you?! You are my hair twin of the future; you are about two inches ahead of me. My hair grows soooo slowly (and the waves don't help), so I probably won't be where you are till (calculating now) -- crikes, Christmas! Still, you are inspiring me muchly...well done. Keep up the good growth...

Hi to all of my SL-APL buddies! :D
A couple of days ago I posted this pic on the main forum, but I also wanted to share it with you guys, since I think that you'll all understand my joy ;) It's not a length shot as such (although it does show that my hair is muuuch shorter in front-dang layers!), but it's a "curl shot". :)
I've mentioned a couple of times here that I'm transitioning from chemically straightened hair to natural texture, and I can finally see more natural hair than straightened stuff! :D So I took this ridiculously unflattering picture in my elevator...for your viewing pleasure :D

Girl you are looking so Tre Chic! Love the attitude:guns:. I'm so with you on embracing our hair textures.:heartbeat When i was going through the awkward stage ( feels like I still am) I covered my head with a bandanna for a whole year because I could not face up to my thick bushy wurly hair, but since I joined LHC I've grown to love my texture. Thanks to this community and people like you posting pics and representing! Totally fabulous shot sweety!
