I'm definitely a part of this group. 2 inches until APL
I've had shoulder length hair for years and years but a few months ago I decided I was going to try to grow it out. I'm between 1 and 1.5 inches from APL (and I haven't been at APL for many many years!). My ultimate goal is BSL - I'm easy to please :)
I hope you make your birthday goal! I have about an inch to go and I'd love to be APL by my bday too (next month!). My hair seems to have a fast growth rate so fingers crossed for both of us ;)

I used to be flat iron addicted, even though my hair is 1B, I used to use heat every day, but because of my career I have to wear my hair in a bun at all times so it made not sense to style my hair, so I got used to it and now even when I don't have to go to work I am not using heat, I don't miss it and I don't even use the blow dryer for my hair, I let it dry naturally.
I think that have improved my hair alot in the last 6 months. I hope it helps me to grow up my hair easier.
My hair just reached shoulder length and I can’t wait to see it even longer at APL! wishing you guys the fastest growing ;)
My lowest layers (most of my hair) are at APL but the top layer at the back (thin layer but noticeable) is only about CBL because it was so damaged & first of all broke off then my hairdresser trimmed it so it’s about 2-3 inches shorter than the rest of my hair. I wore my hair down today as I had a work event & dried it on medium so it actually looked nice for once. I felt really good with my hair down looking nice as I’ve been just letting it air dry for so long or putting it up with a hair fork. But I looked at the back of my head in a mirror once I got home & I feel like the layers look so bad! I hate them! But it’s either cut it back to CBL which I really do not want to do after the best part of a year babying my hair or just be patient. I think it will take at least another 6 months to grow those horrible shorter bits down to APL. Ugh I wish it was all 1 length! I’ve been really patient with my hair recently but it’s so frustrating when it still doesn’t look anything like what I want it to!
Have you trimmed after the 5th of January? Maybe join us in the no-trimming first half of 2020 if you haven't already! There will be others who will struggle not to trim but we'll keep each other accountable, and the time will pass faster in good company. :)Quote:
