Not trimming for 6 months is also my plan, I've never gone that long before so hoping I can make it and see some significant growth.
Welcome and happy growing to you!
Thank you very much! Honestly, these (almost) 4 months flew by, so 6 months is very doable (and I used to trim religiously, I never thought I could stop). And like you said, every inch makes a difference in this length, so not trimming for 6 months will make a significant difference. I'll take photos next week at exactly 4 months to share my progress and for encouragement hopefully it'll help you :D
And yep. The struggle with shrinkage is real. When my hair is longer I experience less shrinkage so I also hope that soon a slight growth will make my hair not only physically longer but visibly longer.

Hello, I think I'm going to join this thread soon. I'm already at SL, but I wait first week of March to measure and to take a photo.
Happy growing, everyone :)

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Agree. I think this part seems the longest because you can’t do as many up-dos that distract from obsessing about length.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I agree with you Waveurly and Moondancer. It doesn't feel like the hair is getting longer. It feels like it's just getting less short. I think once we hit APL is when we'll really feel like the hair is getting long so it's an exciting milestone!:D

Thank you! I must say that I still use hairdryer and brush and some products, to achieve that look.
I can't manage my hair otherwise. If I wouldn't have that routine, I would be probably tempted to trim my hair.

Yes, so agreed, from shoulder to APL is definitely a great milestone when it finally will start to feel a bit longer! Just wish I had shorter shoulders? ;) haha

Thanks, Waveurly! I've just taken a look to your album, and your progres is really great. How many times did you trim your hair between September 2018 until now?

Thank you! I think I have been trimming about 3 times but... I try to microtrim always, so the least amount as possible. However I usually end up cutting at least 0,5 centimeter to max. a centimeter as my hair is too thick at this point to be able to cut less.. I've tried to be in no trimming challenges but always end up cutting it after about 4 months at this point as my hair by then gets just too tangly and easily damaged because of that. I feel my hair growth has not been that quick though but with minimal trimming the growth really adds up!
