Just hitting shoulder length again.... growing out a haircut. I think it still looks cute though. :) Gonna keep it black. Almost a year now! Wow! Weird for me to not be dying my hair, but I really love the black. Tried Henna and Indigo process.... wasn't impressed. SO messy and took forever. I used to henna and love it, but doing the two step indigo process was awful and it didn't even come out black even though I used a new batch and good brand. Alas... just not worth the pain, so I'll be using the boxed dye that works well on me and doesn't really seem to fade. Woot.

This stage seems to last forever. My hair hasn't appeared to grow at all in the past couple of months since my last update - still at shoulder!
My hair is finally looking like it's reaching down. Still the road to APL will be long..

In the front it's a couple of inches past my collar bones.

Do you ever suspect your hair is actually getting shorter? I am used to it appearing shorter when it is more wavy, but I feel like today it’s somehow even shorter than when it’s wavy. Frustrating.

Hello, welcome to all the newcomers and happy growing!
My hair is now long enough to put it in a peacock twist with a flexi. It holds fantastic. I slept 1,5 hours with this updo and it still holds. :)

It looks so good Stray_mind!!! I love the color changes and that flexi is really pretty. My hair seems to slip out of mine and so I never use them.... even when it was really long. :(
