Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I got a small trim the other day, so I decided to take a length picture. I want to start taking length shots regularly- I'm not going to commit to monthly... but maybe every few months. :p I figure this stripey dress will be perfect for seeing growth. I do need to find an area with better lighting though.

Thanks Bat! :) I'm hoping I can keep it in good condition as it gets longer.

I'm sure you will, you know where to look if you need help!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Currently it's collarbone length when I pull it down. Hoping it will be mid-back length by this time next year. I won't be trimming.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Don't mind me, just sneaking my way into this thread for the foreseeable future... :p
I recently reached shoulder length, and I finally feel like I'm out of the "awkward" stage for my hair :D Though I've read about how it feels like it takes forever to get from shoulder to APL, at least I feel a little more confident in how my hair looks. I was tired of having it just grow "out" instead of "down" for so long LOL.
Good luck to everyone here growing as well!! I'm excited to join everyone and celebrate our progress together :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hi all, posting here because I am so irritated by this length x) It's just past my shoulder and also quite wavy, so it feels like it's not growing at all. The ends keep curling upwards. The style sooo doesn't suit my face and makes me look old *rants on* and bah.. I almost made an appointment to get my hair chopped back to chin length for a cool bob but managed to restrain myself, I just have to stick to the deal and do nothing to it for at least 2 years..
Today I did an onion rinse and tonight I'll massage in some scalp oil and an overnight VOO soak. Also started taking MSM again, 1/8th teaspoon, just to get my body used to it slowly and comfortably. For the rest just avoiding alcohol, caffeine and sugar.
Right, that was my frustration rant for the day ;) Hope all you shoulder lengthers are having a better day than me, haha! Cheers to long hair some day!

Growing out from shoulder to APL will probably take me about 1 1/2 to 2 years.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hi all, I'm back here with hopes to grow long hair. Again, and again.
I cut my hair from solid APL to collarbone length, on 19th April this year and I already regret.
I guess I would need 4 months to reach APL.
I'll post my photo these days.
Happy growing to everyone!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hi! Nice to meet you all, I'll be joining this thread for a while. I hit shoulder length a little over a year ago and I've had only one trim since then, so I'm hoping to get to APL before the end of the summer. I think that should be about the same time as a few of you so it's nice to see we'll be growing together :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Guess I am ready to move onto this thread! Just posted my update in chin to shoulder, but my hair has definitely reached shoulder this month or last. Can't WAIT to get past APL. Nice to meet all of you, looking forward to grow together :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Joining the shoulder-to-armpit crew... I also have a lot of bleach to grow out :( I'll try to post a photo soon.
