just joining this thread. I'm at collar bone in the front for my longest layers and at shoulder for the sorter ones. I hope to reach APL by January or so. At that point I will evaluate how my hair looks at that length and decide if I want to try for BSL.

I sometimes feel like my hair's going nowhere, because it's hard to tell exactly how long it is at this length. What I do know, though, is that at the start of Freshman Orientation Week last August, my hair was well above my shoulders. So I guess it's growing, but it just doesn't feel like it. :mad:
Mine's almost at APL with the longest bits in the back, maybe an inch off when it's straight (i.e. wet). Unfortunately, I lose a pretty good bit of length when my hair dries, since it's got some a good amount of wave to it.
Right now, I'm waiting for the random spiral-y curls in the front to get long enough to shove behind my shoulders.
I fall into this range, but I have been maintaining it here for a while and am content for now, but seeing all of the hair here may change that in the future.
I am and like it so am keeping it there. But I am a guy and dont think i could handle to much more, plus i like wearing ponytails so lack of styles doesnt bother me.
Oh man I am here! I'm below shoulder when its wet/straight and probably riiight at shoulder when its dry/curly. I'M DYING TO GET TO APL AGAIN!!!

This length looks cute on me, but drives me bonkers because my layers never stay in ponytails... It's one of those "surviving" type lengths, if I can survive it and get to APL then I can start getting my hair into updos.
I'm also here and can't wait to get a bit more lenght. It does stick to my neck which is annoying and updos don't hold. I think anywhere from ear to good three inches past shoulder is very annoying.

Well I do put my hair up. Maybe it is a bit messy and it doesn't look very pretty. But I don't care. As long as my head feels cool it is okay to me.
I use a flexi and do a sort of french twist. It keeps my hair away from my neck and that is what works for me.
I still have to use clips though to keep my layers back.
