I'm finally in the shoulder range and on the way to APL! This picture shows my progress so far this year. The photos are from early January, early April and early July.

I am at shoulder length/APL. My hair seems like it wants to stay here but I am reading and absorbing all of the information on this board. So, we shall see!
Hufflepug, (another great name) that is some gorgeous growth, color and curl. Closing in on APL for sure.
Novine, this board has some great advice and information. Keep taking it in.

I feel LIKE I'm getting very very close! I did the towel test today and my hair kept catching under the towel as I got it set.
Turns out, I have somewhere between a half inch and an inch to go before I hit APL proper, and more if my ends are flipping about.
Everyone seems really close to APL! I have to refrain from unleashing the hounds of envy. I called shoulder way too early and then spent a few months disappointed, but now it's firmly at collarbone and growing. If only it wasn't so flippy, like leilani said.
I just realized today looking at old pictures, that due to horrible layered haircuts and damaging hair care habits, my "long" hair before my neck and pixie cuts was usually around APL-BSL, and my longest was probably BSL to mid-back. I always thought it was much longer, probably because it was thick and poofy and people commented on its length (lol). I guess I was not paying much attention. This makes me so excited for the future. With proper care and support I might reach waist and below for the first time in my life. *fingers crossed* *LHC tab open indefinitely*
