Im having a crappy hair day. My hair looks fine but Im just down in the dumps about it. Im at 17 inches finally. I just feel like my hair will never be long. I don't know how else to treat it but it still grows so slow! Shoulder to apl sucks.

Cheer up! This is a discouraging marker to reach. It does seem to take forever. But I looked at your album and I think your hair is making good progress. Mine is, too, but something (texture?) is weird with my hair....the more it grows the shorter it looks!! How can that be?? Lol, we will do it, yes we will.

Shoulder to apl is definitely the most annoying marker :) It's not short, but it's not long either. After apl it actually starts to feel long(er), and it's waaay easier to put up and forget about the whole hairy thing going on our heads. Some day we'll make it!

Thank you! I almost missed these comments! If you can't do this style right away, you could try folded braids, they tend to look like buns also at these shorter lengths!

I love your video, you did a fantastic job! I was able to do the braid, which is exciting to me. I think a couple more inches and it will work even better for me. Yay, Arctic.

Thanks so much! I might just have to make a new hair video some time, as I got so wonderful feedback :D Like I wrote to Ms Randie above, you could make a folded braid if this looped braid isn't yet possible. Those look lovely and bun-like too with our shorter hair.

That is the truth! The longer it grows the shorter it looks. I swear it is shrinking :)

Yes! When I can put it up everyday and forget about it I don't think about it as much but right now I can't put it up really without half of it falling out because its shorter at the nape than everywhere else since I trimmed it to keep it even.

Do half-ups and don't check the back of your head from the mirror other than when you make your hair style.
