Thank you molljo and artic.
Picture is in my previous post now, had to wait for my phone to update :p
Please excuse my messy hair, I was trying out a new styling product, and it didn't work out. I'm off to wash my hair again :(

butterflybutton, I love your curls and colour, and the shirt is brilliant! Messy hair is in, and yours looks great!
My hair reaches my collarbone when stretched and thought I'd measure my collarbone to armpit aaaaaaand.... 10cm.
It's going to be roughly 10 months in this thread. I underestimated how long this would take
Rina, you better find some nice hobby and come here to socialize (LHC has amazing members!) and learn how to take care of your hair the best possible way. When you are busy and not paying too much attention to your hair, the time will fly and the growing is fun. :)
I've been neglecting my hair since I chopped it back in September to chin length. It's easy to ignore it in the later stages of pregnancy because I can't be bothered! I think it has grown a bit too, but have also neglected to take any photos of my hair. Going from shoulder to APL seems like a very long journey though. I envisioned my hair being longer when I give birth, but its not going to be much longer than it is now...
Shoulder to APL the length that short hair start to pretend it's long
I need to take a new length photo but I think from looking in the mirror last night after I washed it that I might be about to graduate from this thread back to the APL-to-BSL thread. :)
Yay for fairly fast-growing hair!
I didn't post in January to the monthly length photo thread, but I did about mid-month last month, and I'll probably take a new length photo next week and see.
One of my go-to hairstyles when my hair was longer (before I foolishly cut it) was a figure-8 or infinity bun. (They're basically the same bun, just the figure-8 is vertical on the back of your head and the infinity is horizontal.)
Today I was able to get my hair to go into two infinity buns. I tried two figure-8s a couple of weeks ago and couldn't get them to stay put, but right now, it's up in two infinity buns, one with the top half of my hair near the crown of my head, and one with the bottom half a little lower. It actually looks okay from the back, and it's staying put!
YAY!
My hair is finally, finally long enough to do a sectioned bun! I just needed that extra fraction of an inch! And it only took one mini spin pin and three bobby pins! This feels like such a huge milestone.
