I think between 3.5 and 4. With about .5 inch growth per 5 weeks, I think I will be close but might have to wait until next Jan or Feb. *sigh*

I'm at the "can I call this APL?" stage. I'll post a photo when I get round to it. I think I'd get another inch before I could confidently say so. Think my hair's growing slowly though :(
Hey same story here.
Not all my hair is "touching" APL length because of the little v shape. So I'll stick to this thread for a while my fellow sufferers :D
I was just wondering for those without pin straight hair, will you call apl when you get there with waves/curls stretched out, or wait until you look apl.
I think I'll do a double shout. One when I'm there stretched and then properly call it when I look it. Although looking at the difference between apl and bsl, I'll be near or at bsl in actual length.
It seems a cheat when you don't look it :)
diddiedaisy I have about an inch shrinkage and am going to call APL when it hits the towel wavy. As in post-wash-just-dried wavy.
I got my husband to measure how far I have to go until APL. It's about 5.5" to 6" more inches. I usually get about and inch a month (sometimes more in the winter), so I am really to hope to reach my goal of APL by Christmas of this year! *Crossing fingers*!
It pretty much grows like that naturally, I think. I get crazy growth spurts in the winter and I can get almost 2 inches a month! (I know, people hate when I say that)! In the summer, I can get anywhere between 1/2 to an inch per month.
I did find that when I did regular scalp massages with hair growth oils, I got the 2 inches per month in the winter. This summer, I plan to continue with that and see if I can get more than the usual 1/2 inch. I am curious to find out if that is the reason for the growth or I just get natural growth spurts in the winter. I will keep you posted! :)
