I really like how subtle the effect on your hair is, it looks like it will be barely noticable in some light and more prominent in other. :)
This artwork is amazing!!!

Underlights are such a nice look. I had been thinking about getting some darker brown ones in my hair, I like them that much. However, I recently posted a photo in the TT Thread and it seems that I already have underlights.

Thanks, bat.:flower:
My lowlights are natural, yes. I have been slowly silvering since 2008 and it has been quite the evolution, to say the least. Mother Nature has given me some interesting highlights and lowlights over the years.
I see you have trimmed a bit. You will be much happier with your fresh ends, I'm sure. When our hair looks and feels better it makes the growing out journey much more enjoyable, in my very humble opinion.

I agree, I still have fluffy ends but atm I'm happy, I might just micro trim for a while
Nature has given me silvery temples but you can't see them because of the dye, lol

I've reached APL with damp hair! :cheese:
Sorry for the clutter!
I think with it will take a month before it shows on dry, wavy hair.

Those Ioish paintings are really beautiful. Long hair in pastel is amazing
Yes, it seemed as very subtle, so...ooops I did it again. :D
I've looked carefully my result the other day, and I realized that caramel shade and cacao messed somewhere in the roots, so I've made some corrections, adding cocoa shade only, above those fails.
I still haven't updo my hair properly since then. With ponytail, to me it looks like the change is still subtle. But, maybe it's because my hair is still relatively short.
And, I trimmed my hair the other day, just a little bit, maybe 0.5cm. Not necessary but it felt like it would be a good idea after doing those underlights. I love my hemline more and more, so I guess this is now a blunt phase in my life.

luluj, you DO have natural underlights, your updo is so colourful and interesting!

Bat, remember the other day when I said, " noo, don't do it...let it grow, whatever the ends are" ...or something like that... Well few days after, I did trim my hair LOL
I know exactly the feeling when you know that only small trim can make your hair fall better. And yes, it always helps if done properly, then it's a good decision. But don't trim a lot if you are going to do that often. Don't forget that you are growing it, too!
Sleepy Tangles, congrats! I've taken a look to your album, and month-to-month photos. It looks like your hair has grown so quickly! I'm now with my length where you were in April. And you're already APL. So encouraging!

haha I went to the salon and she got rid of most of the damage so its chin/mid neck length again, I've dyed it black since some colored ends were still there, but I must say it feels and looks great, it is now at a good stage to let it grow now, it has set me back to around July but I'm hoping it will be back to the length it was before I killed it by the end of december
