I haven't the foggiest. Haven't stretched my hair in a while, but I know it is creeping along and I am finally content in that knowledge, haha.
I am thinking of doing mini twists soon; then I'll know. I will update my signature then.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Ive just (barely) reached Shoulder with straightened hair so yay, I'm here now, I'm hoping to get APL or even BSB by next Halloween

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hello everyone :). I'll be here for a long while. My hair reached SL at the beginning of the month but I struggled with the idea of keeping it at shoulder or to continue to grow it. I eventually decided to keep growing it for at least 2-3 more months and then microtrim it regularly until I'm satisfied with the condition of the lengths.

As much as I love long hair (and I think it also suits my face better), the condition of it is really important for me. So I'll definitely microtrim it after it reaches a comfortable length (I like to be able to braid it without tugging the roots).
You do you, of course; you may also like your hair better with just one little trim.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I am aiming for APL but I will micro-trim along the way. My focus is on hair health first and length second. The problem, for me, is that I used to trim too much along the way, which is why APL always seems to elude me. Now I micro-trim, this works amazingly well. I am always careful not to trim more than I have grown in a given period of time. If I were to say "no trimming" this would only set me up to fail, I need to know in my mind that trimming is fine, just so long as I don't overdo it.
The key is to enjoy our hair at every length, getting there should be enjoyable.

The way I change my mind it's best I'm banned from anything sharp xD but I have to admit quality is slowly being more important alas we will see. I wish you luck with yours as well!

Well said! How far from APL are you?
